Dear fellow marketers,

I started this website because I wanted to give you guys a clear view of what it really takes to make money online.

Now, first of all, I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that I make seven figures a year, no, not quite….But I am going to tell you that I DO make money online, and I DO know how to do it, and I AM going to share with you exactly what you need to do in order to have success and make some money.

I’ve been doing marketing for many years actually.  I started in multi-level marketing, with companies that you may be familiar with like NuSkin, Arbonne, Global Resorts Network and even Mary Kay.  I did reach some of my lower level goals with those companies, but not even to quit my day job.  And, realizing that my only goal was to be able to have a “home-based” business and work for myself, when in actuality, I was NEVER home when I was doing MLM because I was always inside of other people’s houses doing home parties or recruiting meetings.

That being said, I decided the MLM was just not the right business model for me.

So…I turned to internet marketing.

For a few years I tried to do everything I could get my hands on, and pay lots and lots of money for, in way of “how to make money online” training courses, software, memberships and everything else I thought might help me.  I wasted hundreds…actually thousands of dollars on this junk.

I finally came across one program that was not expensive at all, the guy promoting it seemed so down to earth and I actually felt like I could relate to this guy.  Even though he was showing me step-by-step how to do something, I didn’t feel like some moron being taken for another scam.

That “guru”, and I will call him a guru, was Mark Ling.  His Affilorama program is the first program that I really learned how to build a website properly, with good, quality content, and I earned my first affiliate check.  During my training with Mark Ling, I was introduce to Brian Johnson and his Commission Ritual course.  It, too, was very affordable and straightforward.  Here was another down-to-earth guy who wasn’t “perfect” in his grammar and spelling, yet he was producing websites and products that would earn him a half a million dollars in 2010.  Brian has a slightly different approach to making money that Mark did so I also followed him….and again, made money selling physical products on my websites.

As a marketer, and always wanting to keep up on the latest information that is out there, most people tend to get themselves onto a few mailing lists.  Ahem….mailing lists can be good for information, but can be very bad for getting distracted.  It’s truly a bad “disease” if you will, to chase after the next shiny object.

There is always going to be someone out there telling you that they have the solution to your internet marketing problems….”you can make money in your sleep,” “you don’t have to do any work,” and “you can make $10,000 in 2 weeks!”  It’s all a bunch of bogus hype and people spend thousands and thousands of dollars on every new launch of a product or course that comes out constantly.

Don’t get yourself caught up in the distractions.  Don’t chase after all those shiny objects.  Sure, maybe try a new software here and there, or follow your guru and let them tell you what they suggest using as tools.

Most of the time you can do everything for free, but it just takes a bit longer.  The software and tools that are out there are really just to make your life easier by making things quicker.

Now, I don’t claim to be any kind of internet guru, but I will share with you what has worked, and also what has not worked.

Follow me on my internet marketing journey, and I will help you make some money, and free up your lifestyle so you can really enjoy more time with the things you really want to do, and spend time with the people you really want to spend them with.

Keep the focus,

Rae Macias
